I've been a fan of the series from the first installment, all the way up to the fourth installment, 'Ice Age Continental Drift,' but this... THIS is simply pathetically and juvenilely dumb. Actually, the greatest word to characterize this whole film is right here: "dumb." It looks the part, but the storyline is a very other story. They brought back an amazing character from the previous film, just to dumb him down and, as a result, add another character to this massively superfluous roster of probably more than 30. He was, however, one of the best aspects of the film, and to be honest, I listened to the Figaro musical interpretation quite a bit after viewing it...
