Sports anime may be thrilling, adorable, hopeful, emotional, and, in some ways, much superior than genuine sports. However, many programs fall into an old trope: having a protagonist who is very talented in their specific sport from the start. That is why SK8 the Infinity is so refreshing. The episode has a sporting prodigy, but Reki, the protagonist of SK8 the Infinity, is not one of them — and this makes all the difference. When Bones and creator Hiroko Utsumi first introduce Reki, he tells the audience how some people define happiness as being wealthy, famous, or respected. Though he does not provide an explanation for what he considers happiness to be, his actions speak for themselves. The next thing we see him do is take part in the high-thrill, illegal, and deadly skateboard racing course known as âS.â Despite the fact that Reki lacks exceptional abilities, a trademark trick, or a wonderful demeanor, he finds satisfaction in the excitement and challenge of skating.
Reki Kyan, a high school student, is obsessed with skateboarding. When it becomes dark, he goes to "S," an illegal underground race within a mine where skaters compete in very risky scenarios. Reki is now unable to practice due to a loss that resulted in the destruction of his skateboard and the breaking of his arm. While at work, Reki meets his new classmate Langa Hasegawa, a half-Canadian, half-Japanese lad with no skating experience. Langa is eager for money. When they are both instructed by Reki's employer to see "S," they fall into problems and are forced into a bet that demands Langa to skate in a race. However, the mystery transfer student has a trump card that Reki is not aware of, one that might help him win the race in an unexpected manner. [Composed by MAL Rewrite]

For a summer date, Reki would go to a skatepark, followed by a theme park since he enjoys having fun. On a water slide, he'd get his date soaked. If it rained unexpectedly, he would put his date first and give his towel. [22] Standard street style attire is Reki's favorite fashion sense! He always has a T tool in his luggage since he is always repairing the fittings on his skateboard. Reki would dress normally for a date, preferably in his favorite attire. Cute outfits, such as white summer dresses, grab his attention. Reki buys his outfits from thrift shops and likes to try them on. Reki would travel to locations other than clothing shops for a shopping date, such as an arcade or just roaming around. Reki's mother is in charge of his washing. Reki would blush uncomfortably if someone took a photo of him on the street. [23]
