Shawn, like the other Wayans brothers, is a multi-talented actor. He is a gifted actor with a plethora of creative tools at his disposal. He has a lot in common with his brother Keenen in that he too enjoys directing and writing films. With his brother Keenen, he has directed and co-written a number of films.
The amusing Cheri Oteri portrayed Gail Hailstorm, a character inspired on Courteney Cox's Scream character Gale Weathers. Gail was a hysterical reporter determined to solve the murder case by any means necessary, and we mean any! Cheri is well-known for her appearances on Saturday Night Live between 1995 and 2000. Hailstorm is a news reporter who arrives in town to cover Drew Decker's murder. She seems to be unethical in her reporting; it is indicated that she had sex with Doofy Gilmore in order to get information on the police investigation into the murder. On her news program, she also kills a student for being rude behind her. Cindy Campbell also punches her on camera for an insult. Hailstorm also takes her cameraman Kenny along in pursuit of The Killer, confronting him in the local make-out spot after Heather, a local student, is murdered. She is then seen driving away with Doofy, the two of them clearly in a relationship.
