Itadori Yuuji is a huge follower of one of Japan's most beloved idols, Gojo-sensei. Sukuna seeks vengeance after invading his brother's studio to film himself executing a complete copy of Gojo's most famous dance teaser, and uploads his dance in the hopes of shaming him. Instead, the renowned artist wants Yuuji to appear in his upcoming music video. According to Sukuna, he desires Yuuji. And Gojo wants both.
Gojo departs on a business trip two weeks later, and as a result, he is unable to take the first years on a mission.

Gojo meets Kiyotaka in the mortuary after the mission at the detention facility that ended in Yuji's death. Gojo discusses how the higher-ups plotted Yuji's death during the expedition and how he should simply murder them all. When Shoko arrives to inspect the corpse, Gojo orders her to use him. Gojo explains to Kiyotaka why he became a teacher while Shoko prepares for her test. Gojo observes as Yuji comes to life just as Shoko is ready to begin her examination. Gojo congratulates Yuji on his rebirth. Gojo then departs with Shoko, discussing how he wants Yuji to remain as dead on the paper so that he may assist Yuji in becoming stronger.

Note: Despite the fact that it is mentioned multiple times that the Black Flash amplifies the attack by 2.5, this is inconsistent with the verse since several strikes would reach Solar System Level. Several characters can often withstand a Black Flash, even though the assault is 2.5 times greater in principle.
