Use a pointed pen to highlight the eye on a layer on top of everything. For that, I prefer to use a bright color like hot pink first, followed by the genuine near white hue for the accent. I also put highlights to the hair to make it more vibrant. I added some lovely blush with the same soft airbrush, and for a basic backdrop, I used the gradient tool (below the fill bucket tool) to make a white to purple gradient. Tada! Finished - The next step is optional, however for a more interesting lighting situation, first create a layer and activate the'multiply' layer mode, then fill the layer with whatever color you desire. I applied a golden tone. This is the primary shadow value. Then, create a layer above it, activate the 'color dodge' layer mode, and use the soft airbrush to add highlights. This process is simple for me, and it offers a fantastic outcome for an additional difficult to the final photo!
