Small Easy Harry Potter Perler Bead Patterns

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my elder sister, who is a huge fan of HP. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because it is a wonderful kit for the price, and I knew she would like the finished result. However, when it comes to the beads, this kit is really crazy. The container housing the beads had a broken seal when I got the item, and the beads were all jumbled up. What better way to spend Christmas Day than sorting 4,500 beads because the manufacturer was too lazy to develop effective packaging? Let's just say that after almost 2 hours of sorting this junk by two people, we were fatigued, our backs ached, and we didn't want to see another bead. Having said that, this is a fantastic kit if you want to organize over 5,000 beads and despise your life. Have fun sorting! :)

The only one that will not fit on a tiny pegboard is the Perler Bead sword. To make it, you'll need a huge 2929 board. Having saying that, you can put all four of them on a single big pegboard. That's what I've done in the picture below. You'll also note that I've positioned the pegboard on a diagonal in the image.

And, since I'm a sucker for all things feline, I crafted a gift-wrapped Nyan Cat!

But let us return to the main event, the super heroes! Don't forget to print those patterns, and you'll have a fun activity to keep the kids entertained for a while! Or, if you're anything like me, you'll adult those suckers!

Oriental Trading Company donated the supplies utilized in this project. There may be affiliate links in this post.- So I got a number of little craft kits and materials from Oriental Trading, grabbed a few other items we already had, located some spare baskets around the house, and set up a little place for the kids to create.
