Variety stated on November 6th, 2018 that film producer Chris Meledandri will be developing reboots of the blockbusters Shrek and Puss in Boots. On that day, Twitter user @faith schaffer posted a link to the story with the question "How can you resurrect an angel? What can you do to better a god? " (shown below, left). The tweet earned over 5,600 likes and 2,300 retweets in less than 24 hours.
