Murdoc, as you may know, is the primary character in Gorillaz's third studio album... And you could think it makes no sense at all when you hear songs like "On Melancholy Hill" or "Broken" that Murdoc allegedly penned. So, in my opinion, Murdoc is the most important character in the record for kidnapping all of the artists and making the album possible. However, at the beginning, when he was urgently trying to compose new songs in his style due to being in a horrible position and being completely lonely, he created a lifeless album with just a smidgeon of inspiration. He knew it was bad, but he was in a rush and wanted to kidnap 2D yes or no.
