Grave Icy
Sub-most Zero's powerful move is his Icy Grave (+,) string. This is a fast-moving high strike with strong range that may be verified into Ice Ball for a combination. The disadvantage of utilizing this technique is that it is avoidable if the opponent dives below the first strike. If this string is blocked, Sub-Zero will be reduced to -4. Sub-6 Zero's frame Plus poke is an excellent way to deter opponents from striking after this. Any strike that is slower than 10 frames will be defeated. Finishing the +,, string may also prevent opponents from striking immediately after the initial two hits, but will leave Sub-Zero at -7 on block. It's a good idea to mix together +, and +,, to keep your opponents guessing about when to strike.
Step 9: Create the shadows. Examine Sub-Zero to see where the light falls. To show that the light source is behind the warrior in our example, we hatch the inside of the head and body, leaving a strip of light around the figure. Begin at the head. Leave a little strip of light around the skull by hatching the inside section. Light hatching is used to create the shadow strip on the breast. Create shadows for the arms and legs in the same manner you did for the head. To make the figure seem more lifelike, add more shadows in the creases and less light in the elevated regions.
