Apart from the large tail problem, the overall figure is a fantastic addition to any toy box or passionate collector's shelf. The pricing, about $29.99 USD, is reasonable given the size and quality of the toy. However, if it is acquired with the intention of playing with it, keep that seal at the base of the tail in mind. I'd suggest keeping it with the tail tilted up to relieve some of the tension on the connection point. Amazon has it available here.
This is only a toy... it is not a real dinosaur. When my kids got this on Christmas day, they were really disappointed since the salespeople were highly dishonest. We didn't want a toy; we wanted our children to experience the variety of various pets, and we would have welcomed it if Jurassic World had informed us of this in advance. I gave this a five-star rating because it is so realistic and lifelike. It took us a few days to understand that it was not living. The fact that it didn't devour or maul any of our other pets, which we expected to be an issue, was a dead giveaway. It was not the case. At the time, Indominus rex was the most advanced hybrid genus produced. Its genome was built by adding genes from other animals onto a template. The majority of its component sources have been revealed: Tyrannosaurus rex (Tyrannosaurus rex): This animal's genome was utilized as a template into which genes may be placed. Although the Jurassic World website cites five abelisaurs and one carcharodontosaur that were also employed in the genome's creation, this was the only component portion on public record.
