Appearance
For the most part, Greed had short, spikey black hair that was usually neatly pulled back in a ponytail. Also, there was a faint widow's peak to his hair. Greed's purple eyes with narrow, cat-like pupils and razor-sharp fangs were among his most distinctive characteristics. He had a wide grin on his face much of the time. Greed wears leather clothing, including a short black jacket with a fur collar, black leather slacks, and upward-tipped shoes. While in the 2003 anime, his clothes and shoes had a dark green colour, they are black in the 2009 adaptation. Greed wears a skintight shirt identical to those of his homunculus siblings under his jacket. As in his armor form from the 2003 anime, his shirt's color is the same navy blue as it was in the 2009 version. Greed had four black leather wrist belts with metal claps around each of his wrists, which seem to vanish when he goes full shield and while he's regenerating his arm. He put on a pair of round-lens sunglasses for a short period of time.

There are few characters that have had fully new Japanese and English voice actors from 2003 to 2009 (Selim Bradley and Hohenheim are two of them), but Greed's original English voice actor originally reprised his role. Fans believe that Greed's voice has taken on Ling's accent as a result of this transformation. Greed was voted the second most popular Homunculus in the most recent fan survey. While Ling's Greed placed 13th, the Greed with his body came in at number 9.

Ling woke up and yawned. It didn't feel the same as previous evenings. It seemed to be much larger than usual... Jumping out of bed, he checked his surroundings. His clothing began slipping off as soon as he started doing push-ups. So he decided to skip his workout in the morning. He made his way to the restroom, where he scoured the area for trousers that might fit. There were no pants in the restroom when he got there. However, he was noticeably smaller when he glanced in the mirror. As though he were a child once again. "It's like I'm a child again!" Again, he was only 6. Greed was eager to know what was going on.... As a result, he stepped in and took over. Greed looked in the mirror and saw herself. "How come we're back to six?" Greed remained unfazed.
His hands were clasped in a fist as he bent over the bed, twisting his torso. However, muscular hands snatched his wrists before they could meet. As Edward opened his lips to cry for Al, his air was sucked out of his lungs by a swift body. As Edward struggled to take a breath, he only felt the weight of his chest and the constriction around his neck. "Don't shout, Greed," he cautioned. Father has controlled Amestris from its inception. In a line of brutal, terrible individuals who rule the nation from the shadows, this is the title. In comparison to its predecessor, the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a re-adaptation of the original manga that more closely follows the source material.
Even before the reveal that King Bradley is in fact the Homunculus Wrath, fans' expectations for the villain have already been raised. After all, Bradley is presented as one of the country's most powerful men, both socially and militarily. Because he is King of Amestris, he has authority over troops that would not ordinarily pick up arms in defense of a Homunculus, which might increase Wrath's status even higher on this ranking list. He was the first Homunculus to die and the second to last Homunculus to die permanently because of his death and rebirth as well as the fall of his Homunculi siblings (Father being the last).
