While Soul, Tsubaki, and the Thompson sisters avoid this, Harvar, Jackie, and the Pots have their characterizations determined to differing degrees by their spouses. The Pots suffer the worst, with their main distinguishing features, apart from being Kilik's spouse, being their youth and "Earth shamans." Jackie's persona is explored in Soul Eater Not!, although a big chunk of her character there is determined by her desire to befriend Kim. Harvar fared the best in the end, having been established as a Pragmatic Hero and The Spock, although he still fits in this category due to generally only appearing when Ox does. Maka's Team
This newfound bravery leads her skills to grow, and when confronted with Majin Hunt, the Clown's talents are no match, even at full strength. It is finally beaten, but before it can absorb its soul, it vanishes in a spray of ribbons. Maka remembers Kim's departure, the discovery that Kim is a Witch, and that the person who revealed the knowledge was Medusa. Liz asks her female classmates to lunch while they are having a shower. Maka responds that she will be busy at that period. During her lunch break, Maka visits the freshly arrested Medusa in her jail cell with Soul, using her father's ID. There, she inquires of Medusa about Crona's location, but Medusa does not provide her with any information. Soul believes it is better to just depart.
