I received the 5e DnD player's handbook for Christmas. I've played some 5e before, but I've got a query concerning character customisation. I recently took part in a 4e campaign. That may seem harsh, but my cousin grew up on 4e, and as a result, he loves it. Anyway, as I was creating my character for that game, I was thumbing through the three 4e player's handbooks and saw that my book had all of the generic races (dwarf, Elf, human...). However, there were other more races that seemed fantastic, such the Minotaur and Goliath.
