The game seems to be wonderful at first glance, however as many others have noted, the option of vertical split-screen is no longer available for the first time in the series. Furthermore, the horizontal split-screen mode is practically unplayable. You can hardly make out anything (enemies, loot, ammunition kinds), and attempting to read anything in your ECHO or compare firearms without standing about two feet away from the TV is almost impossible. There is an option to decrease the FOV, which reduces the "fish-eye" effect somewhat, but it does nothing to address how tiny everything seems when jammed into the narrow slit provided by the horizontal split. We didn't get far enough into the game to experience the combat lag that others have complained about, but there are several elements (such as cycling through menu options and waypoint diamonds that move extremely choppy even when nothing else is going on) that are extremely choppy in their movement, even when nothing else is going on. Granted, we're playing on a PS4 Slim, but if the game wasn't designed to function correctly on the basic system, why was it published as compatible in the first place?

My favorite scene is definitely the Cameo boss battle with Pain and Terror (Penn and Teller), owing to Penn's role as the voice actor for the part. The remainder of the tale is ridiculous, annoying, and tedious. I don't like leaving spoilers since it's taken me this long and I know other people who haven't played it. In terms of DLC, Iâve completed The Handsome Jackpot and Love, Guns, and Tentacles, both of which were more entertaining than the original game. I still believe their best is yet to come, and the absence of raid bosses in either the original game or its DLCs is a bit of a letdown. Personally, I don't believe they can surpass The Secret Armory or Assault on Dragon Keep...
