Rhys fulfills his end of the agreement with Feyre by whisking her away from her wedding. Their agreement allows him one week to show her who he is and what his court is all about, and he resolves to make the most of it. Rhys' actions at the start of ACOMAF don't make a lot of sense. By the time he arrives to crash Feyre's wedding, the mating link has solidified for him. He's probably trying to win her over and show her a bigger picture than what she knows about his court and him personally. He also wants her to assist him in dealing with the Hybern menace, which is another incentive to at least attempt to be polite to her. Nonetheless, he spends a significant portion of their early contacts teasing and disagreeing with her, if not downright disparaging her. Given how friendly he was to Gwyn and other characters later on, it's odd that he's such a jerk to Feyre, particularly given how traumatized she was and how fragile her mental state was at the time.
Feyre and Azriel have been practicing her flying skills together. He admires the wings she's made with her shapeshifting abilities. They come to an agreement. He respects her, owing to the fact that she is his High Lady. He and Cassian went to rescue Feyre from Eris and his brothers. When his shadows attack Eris at the High Lord meeting, Feyre is the one who urges him to calm down. She motions for him to take a seat next to her. Trivia

Ms. Sarah J. Maas,
âWhat makes you believe I pushed you away? What makes you think I wouldn't talk to you?" She rested her hand on her achy chest. "After my father passed away, after I failed in so many ways—denying myself of you..." She burst into tears. "It was my reprimand. Don't you see what I'm saying?" Through her tears, she could hardly see him. "I desired you more than reason from the minute I met you. You were all I could think about from the minute I saw you in my home. Also, itme. No one had ever had such influence over me before. And I'm still afraid that if I let myself have you, it will be taken away from me. Someone will steal it from you, and if you die..." Her face was buried in her hands. "It doesn't matter," she said quietly. "I don't deserve you, and I never will.â
