When Dark Souls 3 was released, people were split on whether or not the Dragonslayer armor boss battle was too challenging. However, there was one area in which everyone agreed: the aesthetic of the armor set. This was one of those encounters when the player's fear was heightened just by the presence of the armor.
Sorcerer Rogier, who can be found in Stormveil Castle's chapel, wears this attire. He'll move to Roundtable Hold if you chat to him there. The only way to get his armor is to either kill him in Stormveil or leave Roundtable Hold long enough for him to complete the narrative before killing him and obtaining the set. A level 42 and a strength of 525 are required. 45 percent chance to block 640 damage, 226 damage, 26 percent pierce resistance; 15% retaliation probability; 10% chance of 50% damage; +5 percent shield block; and +5 percent shield block are the stat bonuses on the Abyssal Shield. Level 39 and 440 strength are the minimum requirements.

Use the block that you put into a corner earlier to reach the upper balcony once you've ridden up the platform with the three statues in front of boss entrance. Use your cross blade to stun the demon plant above the entrance at the top of this staircase. Enter the chamber and search for a chest with the Abyssal Armor piece on the far side of the balcony.
