VIDEO COLLIDER OF THE DAY Mono, the player character in Little Nightmares II, is introduced at the start of the game. He has a fondness for putting big hats on his head and the ability to handle heavy tools such as hammers, axes, and pipes. However, another ability is available from the start; the player just isn't aware of it. We encounter Mono in the heart of a woodland clearing on the fringes of Pale City, a location inhabited by a lethal Hunter and shielded from the dangers of urban decay by a river. And we discover Mono seated next to a turned-off television set. Weird aesthetic? Art that stands out? Is there an important narrative clue? It's everything of the above, and you'll enjoy it much more when you've finished the game. At the very least, I did.
Six's Identity and DLC Explained in Little Nightmares
Six is the yellow-raincoat-clad figure that controls the player throughout Little Nightmares. Six is a cunning young girl who uses her brains to outwit and escape The Maw's various horrors. The miniature gnomes scattered around the game are generally helpful to Six, but they may often be frightening. Six is plagued with a peculiar, incapacitating hunger that causes her to freeze at certain points during the game. A gnome tries to feed Six some bread at the end of the game, but Six devours the gnome instead.
